Venturing Into Video
My name is Leanne and in December 2023, I finally realised whilst stood exhibiting at an event for another company that maybe I should take the leap and start my own social media business.
In January 2024, Loving My Socials LTD was registered and my new path began. I decided to go for this business name as it matches my own initial, Leanne Marie Smith! But also, this phrase is what I would hope my clients would say once they’ve worked with me.
I now help my clients, not only with their social media but also their branding. My background is graphic design and art so I love being creative. I truly feel I have finally managed to combine everything together that I have a passion for, the main one being, helping others!
Whilst I mainly encourage my clients to just be consistent with their content and that ‘going viral’ isn’t everything, I can’t guarantee you won’t wake up to a video with thousands of views! (Just ask some of those who I have worked with)
As well as branding and helping people navigate their content, I have also developed a love for creating videos. Not just for myself but I love helping others feel comfortable, whether it be them on camera or just their voice until they’re ready to go further.
About 5 months into my business, one of my clients actually said to me, “I’m Loving My Socials Leanne.” And that was exactly what my aim was, back in January.
I’m also a big Bolton Wanderers fan, so attending last years Social Impact Live at the stadium was amazing. Everyone inspired me to be a part of today’s event!
